Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Bodyshop Manager to oversee and manage the operations of our Mahindra dealership bodyshop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient workflow, quality repairs, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the bodyshop, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient service delivery.
- Supervise and train bodyshop technicians, painters, and support staff.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of vehicle repair, paintwork, and finishing quality.
- Ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Coordinate with insurance companies for claims processing and approvals.
- Implement safety regulations and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability of the bodyshop.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts inventory, and job progress.
- Address customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Experience: 10-12 years in bodyshop management or a related role in the automotive industry.
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of body repairs, denting, painting, and vehicle restoration.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of insurance claims and bodyshop repair standards.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
